Cuba nudges WHO over slow vaccine endorsement process

CUBA STANDARD — Cuba will present a dossier of its COVID-19 vaccines to the World Health Organization (WHO), the top executive of Cuba’s state pharmaceutical holding said.

Eduardo Martínez Díaz, general director of BioCubaFarma, said during a press conference announcing a biotech conference in Havana that the dossier – expected to be handed to the WHO in March – will include a summary of results of clinical testing, development, and extensive background on manufacturing facilities for the vaccines in Cuba.
