CUBA STANDARD — After years of disappointing levels of investment in the island, Cuba’s economic leaders used the stage of the online version of the International Havana Fair to send a message of more openings to foreign investors.
During the 2nd Foro Empresarial, Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca on Nov. 30 highlighted the options for foreign finance companies to engage in the Cuban financial system, under changes that were introduced three years ago, as well as for foreign investors to partner with private businesses in Cuba.
