Cuba to begin reopening borders Nov. 15

CUBA STANDARD — Signaling light at the end of the economic tunnel, the Tourism Ministry announced that the government will reopen borders Nov. 15.

“Taking into account the progress of vaccination in Cuba, its demonstrated efficacy, and the perspective that more than 90% of the total population will conclude vaccination agendas in November, conditions are being prepared to gradually open the country’s borders beginning Nov. 15,” the Tourism Ministry said in a terse statement.
