CUBA STANDARD — A group of creditors organized in the Paris Club said they agreed to grant Cuba more time to make overdue payments under a 2015 debt agreement, Reuters first reported.
The news comes after the creditors granted a one-year reprieve in 2020 and expectations that Cuba would default again this October on its annual payment.
No details have filtered about the deal; the Paris Club has not made any official announcement.
