Vietnamese company says it wants to develop two Havana hotels

CUBA STANDARD — Vietnamese real estate developer CityLand signed letters of intent with two Cuban state companies to develop and manage two hotels in Havana, the Tourism Ministry announced in a tweet.

Ho Chi Minh City-based CityLand has a hospitality real estate investment arm, but hotels are a relatively new activity for the company that has mainly focused on building residential luxury real estate projects in Vietnam.
